Droitwich Festival of Rugby: Match Day Recap

🏉 End of Season Tournament – Droitwich Rugby Festival

The curtain came down on the season at Droitwich, and the boys made sure it ended with intensity, grit, and a statement.

Game 1 – vs Kidderminster
Set the tone early. A dominant 5–0 win, playing fast, confident rugby and showing exactly how we wanted to approach the day.

Game 2 – vs Droitwich
A proper battle. Finished 1–1 in a game packed with physicality. Big tackles, strong rucks, and relentless effort from both sides. Could have edged it, but a couple of decisions didn’t go our way. Still, a performance full of character.

Game 3 – vs Bridgnorth
Back to winning ways with a solid victory. Controlled, composed, and clinical when it mattered.

Game 4 - Kings Norton
A tough start, conceding within the opening seconds which put us on the back foot. But the response was quality. Regrouped, fought back, and earned a draw through determination and resilience.

Game 5 – vs Preston
Another physical test, but the boys stepped up again. A commanding 4–0 win, showing strength in attack and discipline in defence.

💪 Overall

A brilliant way to close the season.
Not every game was won, but the unbeaten run stays alive, and the performances showed just how much this team has grown.

Tough, physical, and full of fight right to the final whistle.
