Six from Six at Dudley Festival

Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Festival delivered a full day of action, and it didn’t disappoint.
Facing strong opposition throughout the day, the team took on Droitwich, Stourbridge, Old Halesonians, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, and Clee Hill across six matches.
The first game started a bit slow, with the team needing time to settle into the pace and intensity. But once they found their rhythm, everything clicked. From that point on, the performances lifted, and the confidence grew with each match.
What followed was a run of six wins from six.
Each game showed something different — strong defence, solid rucking, and great teamwork across the pitch. Players stepped up, did their jobs, and backed each other throughout the day. It wasn’t just about individual moments, but how the team worked together as a unit.
Arthur capped off the final match with two well-earned tries, a reward for the effort he had put in earlier in the day — particularly in the rucks and tackles where the hard work often goes unnoticed.
That’s what grassroots rugby is all about. Effort, teamwork, and improvement.
Six games. Six wins. A great day all round.
